Our HQ is in Viborg, and we have subsidiaries in the UK, Czech Republic, Belgium, France, Spain, and Slovakia.
You will work alongside 170 colleagues with strong technical and commercial knowledge. Together, we provide exceptional service to our customers in more than 100 countries around the world.
Join our team and take on new exciting challenges
You will join a dynamic international finance team and be a key player where you lead the finance and controlling activities in our subsidiaries in Ostrava, the Czech Republic, and Barcelona, Spain. Here, the local accountants will be reporting directly to you.
You can expect approximately 60 travel days a year, where you will engage in close collaboration with key stakeholders in the Czech Republic, Spain and with team members across the TEFCOLD Group.
From financial reporting to ensuring efficient corporation
You will support the sales and supply chain activities and ensure efficient cross-functional and cross-border cooperation as well as safeguard and implement Group policies and procedures.
Collaborating closely with the managing directors at the subsidiaries, you will have the full ownership and responsibility of local accounting and controlling as you:
- Handle local and Group GAAP compliance
- Ensure timely month-end and annual accounting
- Manage financial reporting and planning as well as VAT and Intrastat, tax and local transfer pricing documentation
- Function as the local contact for banks and auditors
- Ensure legal compliance within GDPR, insurance policies, whistleblower and ESG documentation
You will also work closely with our Group Credit Management team to ensure an efficient and timely cash collection and minimise Group credit risk without losing sales.
Financial talent with a commercial mindset
- You preferably have a bachelor’s or master’s degree within finance, economics and/or business
- You have some years of experience from a similar position
- You bring a strong toolbox within accounting and financial reporting and have a well-developed business acumen
- You preferably have experience with Business Central and Power BI
- You speak and write English fluently
